Q: What is OgaPay? A: OgaPay is a Nigerian microtask marketplace where workers complete tasks posted by businesses and creators to earn money. Payments are in Naira (NGN) and cryptocurrency (USDC, SOL).
Q: Is OgaPay free to join? A: Yes, signing up and browsing tasks is completely free.
Q: Is OgaPay available outside Nigeria? A: Yes, OgaPay is global. NGN bank transfers are only available for Nigerian banks. International users can withdraw USDC or SOL to their crypto wallet.
Q: Can I work from my phone? A: Yes, OgaPay is fully mobile-friendly and works as a progressive web app (PWA).
For Workers
Q: How do I earn on OgaPay? A: Browse tasks, apply to ones that match your skills, complete the work, and submit proof. When the poster approves, the reward is credited to your wallet.
Q: How much can I earn? A: Earnings vary by task. Each task shows its reward upfront before you start.
Q: When do I get paid? A: Once your submission is approved, the reward is credited to your wallet immediately.
Q: What kind of tasks can I do? A: Social media, content writing, web research, app testing, design contests, video reviews, data entry, surveys, translation, and more.
Q: Can I track my earnings? A: Your Dashboard shows total earnings, pending balance, available balance, and a breakdown by task.
Q: Can I withdraw my submission after submitting? A: No, once submitted you cannot withdraw or edit it.
For Posters
Q: How do I create a task? A: Go to Create Job, fill in the details (title, description, category, reward, max workers), and submit. The total budget is escrowed from your wallet.
Q: How does escrow work? A: When you create a task, the total reward amount is locked in escrow. When you approve a submission, the worker is paid from escrow. If you cancel, remaining funds are refunded.
Q: Can I edit a task after posting? A: Yes, but you cannot reduce the reward after workers have applied.
Q: Can I cancel a task and get my money back? A: Yes, if no slots are filled. If some slots are filled, the used portion is paid out and the rest is refunded.
Q: Do I need KYC to post tasks? A: Yes, KYC verification is required to create tasks.
Q: Can I have both a worker and poster account? A: Yes, but you need separate accounts for each role.
Payments & Withdrawals
Q: What's the minimum withdrawal? A: ₦1,000 for NGN bank transfers. Crypto withdrawals vary by token.
Q: How long do withdrawals take? A: NGN: 1-3 business days after admin approval. Crypto: within a few hours.
Q: What currencies does OgaPay support? A: NGN (Naira), USDC, USDT, SOL, ETH, and MATIC.
Q: What wallets does OgaPay support? A: Phantom, Backpack, and Solflare for crypto. Nigerian bank accounts for NGN.
Q: What are the withdrawal fees? A: NGN: 1.5% (min ₦100). Crypto: 1%.
Verification & KYC
Q: What is KYC? A: Know Your Customer — identity verification using a government ID and selfie.
Q: How do I complete KYC? A: Go to Settings → KYC Verification, choose your ID type, upload photos, and take a selfie.
Q: Why is my KYC taking long? A: Most verifications complete within 48 hours. Ensure your photos are clear and well-lit.
Q: Do I need to verify my identity? A: BVN verification is required for NGN withdrawals. Human Verified (VeryAI) is required for certain tasks.
Q: Is my biometric data stored? A: No. VeryAI handles the biometric scan. OgaPay only stores the verification result (verified or not).

Q: Can I change my email? A: Contact support for email changes.
Q: Can I change my username? A: Yes, once every 30 days.
Q: How do I reset my password? A: Click Forgot Password on the login page. A reset link is sent to your email (expires in 1 hour).
Q: How do I delete my account? A: Go to Settings and request account deletion.
Referrals
Q: How do referrals work? A: Share your unique referral link. When someone signs up using your link and completes their first task, you earn a bonus.
Q: How much can I earn from referrals? A: 10% of the rewards earned by referred users in their first 30 days. No earning limit.
Trust & Safety
Q: Is OgaPay safe? A: Yes. Escrow protects both parties, KYC verifies posters, dispute resolution is available, and your data is encrypted.
